Behavioral Interventions (BI) Electronic Home Monitoring
Behavioral Interventions (BI) is the Court's Electronic Home Monitoring vendor. Electronic Home Monitoring is a part of the Court's Alternatives to Confinement project that provides graduated sentencing options. Electronic Home Monitoring involves an individual's confinement to their home for a specified amount of time each day. Individuals are fitted with an apparatus that allows them to be monitored from a remote location via technology connected to their phone line.
Services provided by BI in the Justice Center include:
- Enrollment services for Electronic Home Monitoring (EHM) systems and Home Breath machines
- Working with clients to set up schedules that accommodate treatment, work, and medical obligations
- Meeting weekly with clients to verify client movements
- Offering pre-trial electronic home monitoring, and maintains direct correspondence with Court officials
BI is located on the 8th Floor of the Seattle Justice Center .
