  • Collections Program
    If you fail to pay or respond to a ticket, it may be referred to our collection agency to obtain payment.
  • Court Resource Center
    It is a designated resource physically operating in the Seattle Justice Center to facilitate on-site delivery of social services and treatment programs to defendants and the community.
  • Domestic Violence
    Seattle Municipal Court hears misdemeanor domestic violence offenses including: assault, property destruction, harassment and telephone harassment, intimidation with a weapon, reckless endangerment and violation of no contact or domestic violence protection orders.
  • Drop-In Child Care Center
    Drop-in child care is available to families conducting business at the Seattle Municipal Court.
  • Electronic Home Monitoring
    Electronic Home Monitoring is a part of the Court's Alternatives to Confinement project that provides graduated sentencing options.
  • Mental Health Court
    One of fewer than a dozen such courts nationwide; the Mental Health Court (MHC) is a dedicated court, with an assigned presiding judge, mental health professional, and probation staff with mental health expertise, prosecutor and public defender.
  • Probation Services
    The Probation Services Division is responsible for the monitoring of Court ordered conditions and provide the Court with valuable information such as offender compliance, problems, and/or dismissal recommendations.
  • Re-licensing
    The Municipal Court of Seattle Re-licensing Program helps clients obtain and keep a valid driver's license.
  • Stolen Identity
    If you find that you have Seattle Municipal Court charges pending as a result of having your identity stolen, the City Attorney's office has an information sheet offering guidelines on how to proceed in the Court
  • Vacating a Misdemeanor Record
    Vacating a conviction for a misdemeanor crime means the Court determines you meet certain conditions and orders the conviction removed from your criminal history record.
  • Weddings
    Municipal Court of Seattle Judges are empowered to perform marriage ceremonies under the laws of the State of Washington. Marriage ceremonies are performed in the Judicial Chambers at 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday in the Seattle Justice Center
