Here for You: Have you been coveting the idea of helping your customers achieve a LEED Gold or Platinum building project so they can leave the humdrum Certified and Silver projects to others?  If so, you’ll want to connect your customers with Peter, who will pull out all the stops to uncover the innovative building strategies they’ll need.  Peter will help organize the charettes and IDP (integrated design process) to get their entire team on board. 
Bio:  Peter’s experience covers almost all aspects of design and construction.  Not only does he have a Bachelor of Architecture and a Masters in Urban Planning, but over his career he has acted as architect, engineer, developer, builder and consultant.  He has first-hand knowledge of the value of teamwork.  
Fun Fact:  If you’re ever out on Puget Sound on the weekend, look for Peter and his wife on “SummeR,” the 46' sailboat they live on.

Sandra “Make it Real” Mallory

Here for You: …if you’d like to make sustainability a reality in your next residential project, Sandra can provide the knowledge, resources, and technical assistance towards creating a truly green design.
Bio:  Throughout her career Sandra has fed her creative side through her architectural design work, her inquisitive side through teaching and research and her ethical values through her focus on sustainability and social equity.  She spearheaded the “Sustaining Affordable Communities” initiative at Environmental Works, where she practiced architecture for seven years. While there she was the sustainability coordinator for the country’s first LEED Certified Affordable Housing project, Traugott Terrace, and the Project Architect for a recent LEED Gold affordable housing project in Bellingham.  Through an ongoing post-occupancy study, she is investigating how well these, and other green buildings, are performing. 
Fun Fact:  Consistently choosing the outdoors over home repair, Sandra spends her free time backpacking, climbing mountains or exploring the Sound.

Jayson “Take it to the Next Level” Antonoff

Here for You: …if you want to explore innovative ways to reduce the energy needs and carbon footprint of your project.  Jayson also provides green building assistance to the City’s own capital projects.
Bio:  After starting his career as a consulting engineer designing “intelligent” buildings, Jayson went on to co-found several companies until coming to embrace the benefits of sustainable practices in the built environment.  He has since traveled extensively, including living for a year in Denmark, and has led groups to visit and research leading sustainable developments throughout the world.  With a Masters in Sustainable Energy Planning, his specialties are renewable energy, climate change, and sustainable communities.  Jayson was recently named as one of Seattle’s Green Leaders for 2007. 
Fun Fact:  After years of being a perpetual intermediate skier, Jayson finally discovered that a snowboard insures his feet always stay parallel, and now disappears to the slopes most weekends during the winter.

 Rebecca “Bring it Home” Baker

Bio: Full circle for Rebecca Baker who is returning to the Department of Planning and Development after an 8 year hiatus. Rebecca worked for the Seattle Design Commission as well as the design Review program and was a member of the team that launched cityDesign. Moving to the private sector, Rebecca managed community involvement programs for challenging public and private planning projects involving transportation, land use and sustainable design. With 12 years in the industry, her diverse technical knowledge allows her to engage the public and facilitate a broader understanding of complex issues. She specializes in developing outreach programs and public information materials, and has designed communication strategies for numerous projects including the redevelopment of Yesler Terrace, High Point and Qwest Field and Event Center. With certificates in historic preservation and urban design, Rebecca brings a unique understanding of the urban environment, public interests and historic resources to her work. Rebecca holds a Master of Urban Planning from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of New Hampshire.
Fun fact: In addition to raising her two children, Rebecca has recently taken up knitting and can be found commuting on the Bainbridge ferry with her latest project.
