Skip the Trip
DPD offers a number of online services, allowing our customers to access information, make inspection requests, pay permit fees or submit comments, all from the home or office and skip the trip to downtown Seattle.

Research

• Design Review - view upcoming and past design proposals for commercial and multifamily development projects
• DPD Activity Locator (beta) - view permitting activity in Seattle from 7/2005 to present using Microsoft's Virtual Earth mapping technology
• DPD GIS - build, view and print map displays using online Seattle GIS data; includes an integrated property research tool
• DPD GIS (beta) - view Seattle GIS data using Microsoft's Virtual Earth mapping technology
• Land Use Q&A - submit a land use question and receive a response from a DPD land use planner via email
• Parcel Data - view parcel information in Seattle, including simple parcel maps
• Permit Information - view project, permit and case information from 1983 - present

• Environmental Sign Installation Notification - applicants are responsible for posting environmental signs for their own projects and notifying DPD once the sign is installed. See Director’s Rule (DR) 29-2006 for requirements.
