Fire Station 31 Moved to Temporary Location
Fire Engine 31, Ladder 5 and Medic 31 have relocated from 1319 N. Northgate Way, to across the street at 10503 Interlake Avenue North, directly north of the existing Fire Station 31. Firefighters will respond to emergencies from this location. Public tours of Fire Station 31 are suspended until the work is complete. Citizens can go to the temporary fire station for blood pressure checks. Nightclub Fire Sprinklers Law Revised The 2007 Washington State Legislature changed the definition of nightclubs requiring retroactive installation of fire sprinklers and extended the deadline for compliance to December 1, 2009.
