DFI regulates and examines a variety of state chartered financial services, including mortgage loans. The Department also provides education and outreach to protect consumers from financial fraud. DFI can help if you have a consumer question, or need to file a complaint.

Contact the Office of Civil Rights to know your rights, and exercise them! In relation to housing, the Office of Civil Rights investigates alleged discrimination in:
