Magnolia Village Holiday Open House

This holiday event will take place on West McGraw Street between 32nd and 34th avenues, as businesses open their doors to offer a celebration for their community.

Thanksgiving Dinner at High Point Community Center
November 20, 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Join neighbors and friends to celebrate the season of giving. Enjoy a home cooked meal at High Point CC. We’ll be frying turkeys and serving a meal complete with veggies and rolls. There will be door prizes and contests to win turkeys.

Northgate Community Center Holiday Wreath Class
November 22, 12:30 - 3:00 pm
Get a head start on your holiday decoration. Join us and make your own masterpiece -- one less thing to worry about in December.

Yulefest at The Nordic Museum

There’s fun for the whole family at this annual Christmas fundraiser, including a special Christmas craft room for children! Admission is $1-2, on-site parking is $1, and children buy tickets to make crafts. Appropriate for all ages. No reservations needed.

Thanksgiving Buffet at Woodland Park Zoo

Seattle Youth Symphony at Winterfest

The country’s largest youth symphony organization performs the timeless sounds of the season for the traditional opening of Seattle Center Winterfest and the Student Showcase Series, for free. At Seattle Center House.

Winter Worldfest at Seattle Center
November 28-30
Winterfest’s cultural festival features some of the region’s best ethnic entertainment. Watch as the world comes to life in music and dance. Take in the culture or search for unique holiday gifts without leaving Center House. The Holiday World Market offers goods from Russia, China and Istanbul.

Macy's Holiday Parade and Star Lighting
November 28
Everyone loves a parade! Join Macy's for the festivities leading to Santa's big arrival at 8:45am, followed by the Holiday Star lighting and spectaular fireworks later at 5:00 pm.

Kirkland Night of Lights
November 29
Annual tree lighting ceremony in Kirkland at Marina Park, with music, treats and a festive spirit in the downcore core, starting at 5:00pm with the tree lighting at 7:00 pm.

Ice Sculpting at Seattle Center Winterfest
Nov. 29, Dec. 6, 13, 20, 27
Artistry and ice unite in a melting moment to express the season. Watch the internationally acclaimed, award-winning artists at work as the ice creation unfolds - or stop by to see the glistening result. Each Saturday outside Fisher Pavilion an ice master will carve a different design.

North Pole Party

Seattle's Imagine Children's Museum throws super cool shindigs for the whole family, with a Gingerbread Village, Kris Kringle's Kitchen, a Polar Party and more.

Bonfire at Seattle Center Winterfest
Nov. 29, Dec. 6, 13, and 27
Take a mid-weekend break from the seasonal frenzy and share in warmth and music around the crackling flames of a bonfire. Songsters and storytellers will lead the music as ambers illuminate the night.

Magic in the Market Tree Lighting Ceremony

An afternoon holiday concert, followed by a tree lighting, from noon to 5:00 pm at Pike Place Market.

Seattle Marathon and Half-Marathon
November 30
Run the first Sunday after Thanksgiving, the Seattle Marathon & Half-Marathon has become one of the top 25 Races in the Country.

Seattle Symphonic Band Holiday Concert
November 30, 7:30 pm
The first half of the program features some beautiful and moving pieces including Hovhaness’s Three Journeys to a Holy Mountain and Mogensen’s Afterglow. The second half features lively music including Bennett’s Suite of Old American Dances and Sousa’s El Capitan. At North Seattle Community College Concert Hall.

Holiday Givings and Fixings at Delridge Community Center

Sacred Sounds of Christmas Concert

Now in its ninth year, The Sacred Sounds of Christmas features Seattle Pacific University’s nationally recognized Concert Choir and Wind Symphony, along with many other outstanding SPU musicians, at Benaroya Hall.

Holiday Tree Lighting on Mercer Island

Kick off the season of cheer with family and friends as you gather for an evening of holiday merriment with a community tree lighting ceremony at Mercerdale Park at 7:00pm followed by the Firehouse Munch at the North Fire Station for live music, santa photos, storytelling and treats.

Bothell Winterfest

Allegra Choir at Seattle Center Winterfest

Northwest Boy's Choir at Seattle Center Winterfest

Sinterklass and Lighted Christmas Parade

Sinterklass, the patron saint of the Dutch, arrives at 1 p.m. for storytelling and folk songs; parade at 6 p.m., in downtown Lynden.

The Sounds of the Holiday Season

19th Century Christmas at Fort Nisqually

Tyee Holiday Bazaar

Phinney Neighborhood Winter Festival and Crafts Fair

The Winter Festival features two buildings filled with 115 high quality, juried crafts booths, live entertainment on two stages, a quilt raffle, a huge bake sale and lunch items.
