Mayor's Office for Senior CitizensGold Card for Healthy Aging and FLASH CardThe Mayor’s Office for Senior Citizens issues the Gold Card and FLASH Card for seniors and adults with disabilities. The cards list phone numbers for information and assistance, and give cardholders discounts for events, goods and services at businesses and organizations throughout King County. Fact Sheet Gold Card for Healthy Aging Seattle's Gold Card for Healthy Aging is a handy resource for Seattle and King County residents age 60 and older. The card features the toll-free Senior Information and Assistance number — 1-888-4ELDERS (1-888-435-3377) — and discounts on goods and services listed in a Special Discounts Directory. It also facilitates registration for senior nutrition programs throughout Seattle and King County. The Gold Card is available at:
FLASH Card Seattle’s FLASH Card — Fun Leisure Access Savings and Health —
is a discount and identification card for adults with disabilities living in Seattle and King County. Similar to the popular Gold Card for Healthy Aging, the FLASH Card features the Embossed in Braille, the card also provides access to discounts on goods and services listed in a Special Discounts Directory. Eligibility requirements for the FLASH Card are the same as for a Metro Transit reduced fare permit for persons with disabilities.
