Mike Hamilton, the City's Chief Information Security Officer is responsible for the development and implementation of an effective City-wide technology security program. This program effort must successfully support the City's business objectives in balance with many difficult security challenges and compliance efforts associated with related federal and state statutory and regulatory requirements.

David Matthews, Deputy CISO
David Matthews, the Deputy CISO backs up Mike Hamilton and supports the Office of Information Security. His reponsibilities include policy creation, maintanence and enforcement; project management; and incident response.

The position of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) was created to oversee the citywide efforts to properly protect the City's information technology systems and the data associated with it. The timely and cost effective delivery of citizen services and government operations depends on these citywide efforts being successful.
