Our mission: To work proactively and cooperatively with all Seattle City Light Divisions to provide a safe and healthful workplace, protect the natural environment, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
 
Global Warming, Climate Change: Seattle City Light partners with local businesses and institutions to combat global warming through its Climate Wise program, and administers a climate mitigation program to become the first major U.S. utility to produce zero "net" greenhouse gases.
