Police Officer Application/Exam Process Application Period:  April 18 - May 15, 2008 Exam date: June 7, 2008 Location: Notification will be sent you via US mail - Approximately 2 weeks prior to the exam Note: Applicants must wait six (6) months to re-test Application Form Position Requirements WSCJTC Physical Agility Exam Seattle Police Department Employment Web Page Entry Level Applicants The Written examination will be administered on: Saturday, June 7, 2008 If you achieve a passing score on the written examination you will be invited to participate in the Physical Agility examination on: Afternoon, Saturday, June 7 If you achieve a passing score on the Physical Agility Examination you will be invited to participate in the Oral Interview Board process on: Sunday, June 8, 2008 If you achieve a passing score on the Oral Interview Board you will be invited to complete the written Psychological examination on: Monday, June 9, 2008 Lateral Applicants The Written examination will be administered on: Saturday, June 7, 2008 If you achieve a passing score on the written exam you will be asked to complete: - Personal History Questionnaire - Psychological Written Examination - Interview with Seattle Police    Background Detective This portion of the process will be conducted on: Sunday, June 8 and Monday June 9, 2008

During an open or ongoing application filing period, an application may be requested through the mail by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope ($.63 stamp for Fire Fighter Application and $.55 for Police Officer Application) to:

Please write "Fire Fighter" or "Police Officer" in the lower right hand corner of the envelope to indicate which application you are requesting.
