Open Enrollment is scheduled October 1 - 30, 2008. You can make changes to your benefits for 2009 throughEmployee Self-Service at http://selfservice by 5:00PM on October 30. Employee Self-Service is only accessible through the City's computer network.*

Dependent Age Eligibility Increase: Effective January 1, 2009, the eligibility age will increase to age 25 (through age 24) for unmarried, dependent children regardless of whether they are in school. You must enroll them through Employee Self-Service during Open Enrollment to take advantage of this extension. *

Flexible Spending Account (FSA): You must re-enroll in the program through Employee Self-Service during Open Enrollment if you want to participate in 2009. The FSA debit card, the "Benny card", is new for 2009. *
New Health Tools: Starting October 1, 2008, most City employees have new health and wellness tools through their medical plans. Aetna members, log into your account at www.aetnanavigator.com(http://www.aetnanavigator.com) to access Simple Steps. Group Health members, log into your account at www.ghc.org(http://www.ghc.org) to sign up for Momentum. **
