Residential Parking Zone Policy Review Public Outreach Complete on Draft Recommendations Thank you to everyone who commented on SDOT’s draft recommendations for the Residential Parking Zone (RPZ) Policy Review project. SDOT received hundreds of comments via email, phone and by attending community meetings. SDOT released draft recommendations in late July and the time to comment on the draft recently ended. SDOT is reviewing all comments in order to develop final recommendations. Legislation and a final report are expected by the end of December, 2008. Key recommendations include proposed changes to: number of permits allowed per household and by zone; guest permits; permit fees; process for creating new RPZs; enforcement; and improved customer service.
